  • February 2021 – July 2022: a research project commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Lithuania; title: Linguistic integration of children from emigrant families returning to Lithuania: levels of proficiency in Lithuanian and approaches to teaching; a grant contract for funding of the Lithuanian research council (No S-REP-21-1); project director, senior researcher.   • March 2021 – April 2022: a national project implemented by the National Education Agency; project ID code: No 09.2.1-ESFA-V-726-03-0001; project title: Development of the National Curriculum and Supporting Materials; contribution: development of the national curriculum for the teaching of Lithuanian as a second/foreign language (levels A1-B2), co-author.
  • March 2020 – December 2022: a national project implemented by the National Agency for Education; project ID code: No 09.2.1-ESFA-V-726-03-0001; project title: Development of the National Curriculum and Supporting Materials; contribution: development of descriptors of competences, co-author of the description of the communicative competence and general introduction to the revised national curriculum.
  • July 2019 – December 2021: a project funded by the National Agency for Education; title: Research, Assessment and Monitoring Development in General Education: Assessment of Students’ Achievements; contribution: creating and trialling a system of formative and summative assessment tools for foreign languages at upper secondary school; coordinator of the team working on foreign languages, co-author of rubrics for the assessment of English, author of the general introduction to the assessment guidelines.
  • Since 2017 till present: a consultant of the RELANG project team; RELANG – Relating language curricula, tests and examinations to the Common European Framework of Reference, website: https://relang.ecml.at/. The project is administered by ECML, European Centre for Modern Languages  in Graz (Austria). Training and consultancy workshops for national educational authorities, exam developers and teachers of foreign languages in Europe.
  • May 2012-October 2014: a project of the National Examination Centre in Lithuania (code VP1-2.1-ŠMM-01-V-03-002); title of the project activity: Quality assurance and enhancement of monitoring systems in education; contribution: creation and trialling of the model of national examination for foreign languages, development of assessment criteria and rating scales for the tests of speaking and writing, linking to the CEFR, training of teachers and examination raters, creation of video demos for training, development of other training materials.
