Internship for Foreign Graduates

Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine Internship for Foreign Graduates

Application deadline: 20 January .

Internship timeline: from 4 Feb until 18 May.

Internship structure: gynecology and obstetrics, child diseases, internal diseases and surgery. All four cycles are equivalent time duration.

Documents needs for application: medical school diploma recognized by Center for Quality Assessment in Higher Education, certificate of the Lithuanian knowledge (B1 level).

A high medical school diploma of applicant must be recognized by Center for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).

According to the Lithuanian legislations all foreign applicants have to submit the proofs of their previous qualifications being recognized in Lithuania. The qualification documents have to be recognized by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education in Lithuania.

Please note the recognition of the qualification does not guarantee admission at Vilnius University. There are quotas for International applicants.

The knowledge of Lithuanian upon entrance should be equal to B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Foreign graduates coming to Vilnius University under the internship are expected to cover tuition costs, which vary from internship studies duration.
