CA22126 – European Network On Lexical Innovation (ENEOLI) Management Committee 2023-2027 mm.

Vitalija Kazlauskienė is an active member of the Management Committee of the COST Action CA22126 – European Network on Lexical Innovation (ENEOLI) (2023–2027).
She participates in Working Group 3: Diachronic and Synchronic Comparative Studies of Neology, with a particular focus on:

  • 3.5 Verb Neology (coordinated by Radka Mudrochová and Andrzej Napieralski),
  • 3.6 Neology and Gender Equality in the Languages of Europe (coordinated by Judit Freixa and Sabela Fernandez Silva).

Additionally, she is involved in Working Group 4: Training in Neology, which aims to develop innovative methodologies and teaching materials for integrating neology into various professional fields such as translation, interpreting, terminology, language education, lexicography, and language planning.

Her research interests within the project focus on lexical change, verb neology, and didactic applications of neological studies, with particular attention to French and Lithuanian.

In this project, Vitalija Kazlauskienė focuses on bilingualism (2+ Lithuanian) of children from mixed and the mothers’ feelings towards their children’s bilingualism. More attention will be paid to those mothers whose children’s bilingualism seems non-harmonious to them. Children’s bilingualism causes friction in the family and deterioration of the emotional atmosphere.

Vitalija Kazlauskienė is actively involved in four key activities within the project:

Internationalization of Study Programs:
Expert contributing to the enhancement of the international dimension of study programs.

Digitization of Study Programs:
Leader of the working group responsible for the digitization of study programs in the field of language didactics and teacher qualification development programs.

French Language Teaching Module (Retraining Program):
Leader of the working group developing the retraining module for French language teaching.

French Language Teacher Professional Development Program (40 hours):
Leader of the working group responsible for designing and implementing the teacher training program.

Development of a French Language Teacher Qualification Enhancement and Retraining Program within the Framework of a Vilnius University Project (2023-2029).

The non-formal education program aims to supplement the pedagogical qualification acquired at a higher education institution by developing the subject-specific competencies necessary to work as a French language teacher in educational institutions.

Vitalija Kazlauskienė serves as the program coordinator and developer, responsible for the curriculum design, academic coordination, and alignment with teacher qualification standards.

National Professional Development Program for Educational Staff (excluding higher education institutions) – „Optimizing Language Teaching and Learning through Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI).” (2023-2026)

This professional development program is primarily designed for foreign language teachers (Polish, Lithuanian, French, German, and others) working in general and vocational education, aiming to equip them with the skills to ethically and effectively integrate generative artificial intelligence (GAI) technologies into the teaching and learning process. The program is also relevant for teachers of other subjects, school principals, deputy heads for education, heads of education departments, and educational support specialists.

Vitalija Kazlauskienė is one of the program developers, implementers, and the overall program coordinator, responsible for the conceptual design, content creation, and supervision of the program’s implementation.
