
Dr Vitalija Kazlauskienė is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philology at Vilnius University and a member of the Centre for Multilingual Studies. Her research takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, linguodidactics and the acquisition of French as a foreign language.
She is particularly interested in language dynamics in the context of migration, the transmission of heritage languages, and linguistic and cultural representations of reality.
Dr Kazlauskienė is the author of numerous international publications on family bilingualism, learner autonomy, lexical innovation, and the integration of artificial intelligence tools in language teaching.
She is an active participant in European and international projects (COST, MotherNet) and regularly acts as an expert and lecturer at several European universities, including the University of Salamanca, the University of Warsaw, the University of Lyon, the University of Erfurt and the Ibn Tofaïl University in Kénitra, Morocco.
