Summary<\/h3>\n

The article analyzes the memoirs essays and memoir digressions in the articles on various topics by Dmitry Filosofov (1872\u20131940) in the Russian newspapers published in Poland \u201cSvoboda\u201d (\u201cFreedom\u201d, 1920\u20131921), \u201cZa Svobodu!\u201d (1921\u20131932), \u201cMolva\u201d (\u201cPeople\u2019s Talk\u201d, 1932\u20131934), \u201cMyech\u201d (\u201cSword\u201d, 1934\u20131936). In memoirs and narratives included in the journalistic texts, literary critic, newspaper editor and political activist drew arguments in formulating of their own program for the \u00e9migr\u00e9 activism. In addition, memories and memoir components of heterogeneous texts by Filosofov constructed his position in the literary and political hierarchy. Reminders of the time and place of his entry into literature actualized it belongs to the older generation with the high positions. The prestige markers legitimizes his claims to the role of the leader of public opinion and the judge in the literary and political struggles.<\/p>\n
